Course Open for 2026
We’re open and the course is in great shape. The cottonwoods are leafing out and the fairways are thick and green. Perfect time for a round before the summer heat arrives in Greeley County.

Green Resurfacing on Hole 6
We resodded the green on hole 6 over the winter. The new bentgrass surface is rolling smooth and draining well. Players are already saying it’s the best green on the course.

Fourth of July Tournament
Save the date for our annual Fourth of July best-ball tournament. Two-person teams, shotgun start, prizes for every flight. It’s the biggest event of the summer in Spalding.

Cottonwood Greens Golf Course sits along the edge of Spalding in central Nebraska, shaded by the towering cottonwood trees that give the course its name. The North Loup River valley provides a natural setting that feels miles from anywhere.

Nine holes of relaxed, walkable golf with well-kept greens and forgiving fairways. The mature tree canopy creates defined corridors and occasional blind shots that add character without frustration. It’s small-town Nebraska golf at its best.
